outside

that’s where we are this week. As much as we can.

I had some other thoughts but they were mostly cranky, crummy third month of tax season thoughts. Maybe if they improve I’ll post them.
In the meantime I’m off to tromp off some steam raking leaves while the boys play.

Catching up and cabin fever busting

This last weekend we spent some time catching up with some of the boys’ friends. It was a good weekend that had just enough play and relaxing.
We had one more catching up date on the calendar but the icy roads delayed it yet again. Which got the moms talking about winter. The past six years have been pretty tame with much of the colder months not really keeping indoors. But this winter the snow was “early” and its been much, much colder. Which has made for some cabin-fever filled days.

This is probably going to sound odd too but I’m finding that our cabin fever or more precisely the bouncing off the walls is lessened when I turn the television OFF. There isn’t really anything on these days anyway what with the writer’s strike. And we’ve been getting those games OFF the shelf instead of just leaving them on it in the boxes.

What have you been doing to bust the cabin-fever in your house (presuming you have cabin fever :D )
