Mommy my p***s is dirty?!!!?

Bet that got your attention didn’t it! Well our dear Jr. Picaso learned a lesson about making a sand “slide” and repeatedly sliding down it whilst wearing shorts & undies.

Lesson learned:THE SAND GETS EVERYWHERE!

After a nice afternoon of playing in the sandbox and building castles, slides and digging holes. I brought the boys inside. Since they were sandy I opted for a quick shower. So I told our Jr. to throw his clothes in the hamper and grab his towel while I got Lil’Beethoven naked. When Jr. came out of his room he was walking a bit oddly. So I looked closer and he is examining his nethers.
Suddenly he looks up at me as states “Mommy my penis is dirty!!??”

So I calmly reply “Yep that’s what happens when you slide in the sand.”

I even managed to keep a straight face. I kept my chuckles for later.
Fifteen minutes later two pristine clean boys dressed and smelling of baby soap! It was a good afternoon.

Great Grandparent Updates

Great Grandma has been the ever patient audience for the boys this week. They of course have been loving the attention! And Jr. Picaso has enjoyed having another person to play, paint with and talk too.

Great Grandpa remains in the hospital and we are awaiting further information from tests before we know what is going on and what will be done. It is frustrating and a little unnerving to be in this state of “not knowing.” And I think it has been difficult on Great Grandma. I am thankful that the boys have been a comforting distraction.

Its Park Day!

Its park day today! From about five minutes after I told Jr. Picaso till we left it was ALL that he was talking about! We met our friends Jr. Newton & Mini Pavlova as well as their Mommy. The kids played and played all over the playground. And we only had one minor mishap when Jr. Picaso decided to try the fireman pole which he is WAY to little to do!! Ok so maybe its only mommy that thinks that. But nonetheless he bonked his head just a smidge and was ok after a hug and kiss. But I did keep an extra eye on him all afternoon.

Lil’Beethoven enjoyed the park also. He tried to eat the sand. He successfully got a mouthful of it and I had to dig it out. He of course decided it was funny to make mommy squeak by biting her finger! He likes the swings the best and had a good time watching his feet or maybe it was the ground?!

A good day all around!
