We are under assault here! And the weapons are the germ kind. That’s right someone brought home a cold bomb and it is currently working its way through our family. Lil’B is down for the count and has a nagging cough that is taking us to the doctor to try to get him a bit of relief. Jr. is starting to cough today. I’m tired from all interruptions of the night what with checking temps, wiping noses, making tea and….you know the regular mom stuff. Tis very glamorous no? I’ve declared us a “sick house” and as Lil’B said all day yesterday he’s a sicky little boy.

I’ve read lots of interesting things. I’ve popped around to see my usual bloggy haunts! I’m even finding a moment to compose a thought or two in my head HA HA HA HA

I’m not forgetting my graces but I’m also not finding much time to write them down but here is a sampling of my thoughts from the last few days. So we’ll call this list 61 and 62!!

1. tissues in every room

2. the snuggly feel better affect of a mom

3. tea and honey

4. a gift box from Uncle K. on a “I feel awful” day for Lil’B – Jr felt fine but was also thrilled beyond bits!

5. chicken soup

6. a husband home to carry the not quite awake 4 yr to the potty in the early am hours

7. a puppy who is big enough to handle being not being taken outside for a lot longer without having an accident in the house

8. naps

9. new dvd well new to us anyway

10. homeschooling – being able to be sick and not worry about the “missed school”

I’ll be sporadic while this latest batch of germs works its way through our house!!
