Great flood of the Sand Village 2009
In no particular order here are some of the things that kept me from blogging much last week:
1. picked, washed and froze some basil, parsley and tarragon
2. picked and picked and picked currants
3. made currant juice for jelly
4. hung up the lights in the coop
5. organized the boys’ homeschool boxes for the start of the “year” (This week YAY!)
6. laundry
7. more laundry
8. cleaned out the collection boxes for the boys’ various projects from last “year”
9. and 10. a bunch of things I cannot remember but most of them involved cleaning something in the house.

Finally! Another game that Lil’B can really play. There is still frustration but that is coming from the difficulty of the puzzles not a frustration in making the wii mote work.
Mario kart is another that he’s been able to play with a fair amount of consistency and not a lot of “help”. Though he still opts to have his big brother “help” unlock new races for him. But he at least will play occasionally instead of simply walking away.
We as a family don’t wii consistently usually we have a night or afternoon a week because that’s what fits. But these past few weeks of summer vacation the boys have spent a fair amount of the rainy days playing the wii. It is nice to have a few games to pull out on those days that Lil’B can play too.
