Sewed up some pajamas for my not so little boy. Size 8 does not sew up as quick as those wee size 4′s!

Updated some things on my homeschool website. Still more to do but I seem to run short of time when I work on it. Website=time suck. I am still not completely ready to launch into a new school year of activities. But the activities will not wait for me to be ready, so I’m doing my best to keep up to date.

Giving up facebook (no I haven’t deleted my account) has been good for me. I’m not deleting as much as pruning down to checking only occasionally and whittling my newsfeed down to less people more groups. Thus if you pull it up at the moment you’ll see a post from CAP Theatre, Charlies Soap and a few other businesses I follow. I am finding facebook is more useful and less burdening. If I want to look up a person I just type their name in the search box. Catching up now feels more like catching up than being bombarded with data.

Asian pears are fabulous and taste even better when they are off your own trees. I am hoping that the four trees we planted this year make it through the winter. The fruits off these small trees were good sized though small in number but so delicious.
