These past few months I’ve unintentionally taken several blogging breaks. In a way they have been a wonderful respite for my mind. I had been having a bit of writers block. Well not a block so much as a cramp. I had things to post but the words would be all garbled in my disorganized little head. A case of too many projects or “to do’s” perhaps.
But I’m hoping to be back to my regular journalling self soon.
In the meantime is anyone else floored by the options for child friendly movies that are coming up this fall?
Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs, Where the Wild Things Are, Astroboy, Ponyo, Princess and the Frog, Remake of the Christmas Carol, Planet 51, Avatar and several more!
I can’t WAIT for “Where the Wild Things Are”!!!!!!!!!!! We rarely go to the movies, but that is one I’m definitely hoping to see.

Do you think it’s b/c the film industry is realizing that if you make a good kids movie you make money? You would think there would be less slasher movies (like what has been in theaters lately) and MORE Lion King, Cars, etc.
