This tulip comes up every year. And every year it blossoms. Just one little lonely tulip in my sad side flower bed. I’m not overly successful at flowers in the first place but you add heavy shade to the mix…well I’ve killed more flowers here than gotten them to bloom. But this one gives me hope! I’ve not killed it yet and miraculously it keeps coming back. I imagine that it must have been from hardy, tulip stock of yore because it was actually here before I was. I did move it to this bed though. It’s original location was in the middle of nowhere. This year’s blossom was particularly brilliant and I’ve enjoyed it all this past week.
