We planned this week on Sunday but I’m not getting it typed up until today. This week is a quick and dirty week for us menu-wise. We’re cleaning out some of our freezer meals and taking stock of what we’d like to put back in as backups, easy fixins and so forth.
So here is our week:
Meal #1 Pasta Fagoile (Copycat recipe of the similar named dish at Olive Garden) from our freezer
Meal #2 Potato Soup from our Freezer
Meal #3 Hamburgers from our Freezer. A surprise find here we’d completely forgot we’d cooked them up awhile back!
Meal #4 Black Bean Chowder *new batch* I only have one quart left in the freezer and this is fabulous reheated! So I made this up for supper and to freeze.
Meal #5 Pork Tenderloins *new batch* great sale on tenderloins so Gramps picked up a few pounds will cook them up for supper and to freeze
We’re out of the house twice this week for various events so Meal 6 & 7 are the choice of those that are home!




Haha! I used to do weekly menus all the time and hang them on the fridge (right next to the sign that said, Tonights menu, two choices….take it or leave it) The funny thing about that is my aunt bought it over after she noticed I was pandering to everyones different tastes!
These days I make whatever I feel like on the day and while it is take it or leave it, I have been known to cook up several different dishes on any given day so there is lots of choice! (Did I ever mention I HATE cooking?) Its a bit hard when half the family is vegetarian and half are carnivores!

I need to get back to doing weekly menus. After I clean out my freezer. Who knows what is lurking in its frozen, dark depths anymore?
