Notes from the kitchen:
Gingersnaps for cheesecake crust: almost a flop. Not ever using that particular recipe again. Since they are crust crumbs not actually for cookies, I wasn’t too upset. Had I been making them for cookies I’d have been slightly devastated.
Squash: came out a bit runnier than I’d hoped. Probably due to to many things/people in the kitchen when I was making the puree. S’okay people will eat it if hungry and better like it!
Next up for tomorrow: Potatoes, Pie Crust and actually baking the cheesecake. Also prep for dressing and dinner rolls.
Question of the day: How exactly do *I* keep getting volunteered to do all the cooking? I’m voting Thanksgiving in a box next year!
