Snow.

I can feel it in the air. I can feel it in my toes.

The cold is creeping in and on its way is snow!

Maybe we’ll sit at cold for a while but today it was more than just chilly. And in the house it was put on an extra sweater chilly. The wind had a bitter bite to it and I couldn’t take Harley out without my coat. It doesn’t feel like November yet to me in so many other small ways. But the wind reminds me almost every day that snow it on its way.

Our pace used to change once the snow fell. Projects were started indoors. We were home more so lengthy projects were launched to both occupy and entertain. In the past decade we’ve not had to change our pace much after the snows. Last year was a bit of a reminder to us when we were not as mobile for two months due to snowstorms, ice and an awful driveway. I keep thinking this winter will be snow-full. The kids are hoping I’m right. They want to build a bigger snow fort and a huge snowman.
