This week I am working on some beads and baubles for a few people. Next time were out the boys and I may just make a stop at the local bead store for a few more colors and some additional supplies. I made up a cute earring and bracelet set for one of my nieces today. And I finished up a necklace strand as well.

A few more stitches on my knitting projects. I’m still getting ladders on one side of my tiny legwarmer. I’m trying to knit an extra stitch to see if I can get rid of the ladder or at least move it so its not all lined up. I don’t seem to be able to intuitively figure out how to rid my knitting of ladders once I move to dpns or in this case on a small diameter project (using two circulars Woo Hoo!).

I’m making up my bead and charm list. I like these gifts almost better than my knitting/sewing because they are crunch time gifts. And it is getting to be crunch time. I can easily finish up a simple project a day which makes making gifts for three little girls go from “days/week” with regard to knitting/sewing to just hours!

  1. I have no idea what you said about knitting, but beads, now you’re talking my language. You’ll have to share with me sometime where you go for your beads.

You’re going to have to share with me sometime how to knit. :)

Seriously, would you mind giving me and Jess (and maybe a few Girl Scouts) a few knitting lessons?

(PS - your identity thingy to comment is kinda weird, there’s something different, did blogger change it?)

  3. I still classify myself as a newbie knitter but I’ll gladly show off what I do know. I’ll make a note to chat about knitting with you :D

And yes I do believe Blogger did something to the comment identity thingy. Must be a new-fangled upgrade or maybe googles going to let us have multiple identities like Yahoo! :D
