I think that Jr. was more interested in the water features at the Zoo than the animals this time. It was hilarious to watch him practically ignore the opportunity to see animals up close but get visibly excited (jumping up and down) when faced with a man-made waterfall. I’m curious what he would do if he visited a natural waterfall!
Lil’B and Jr. were delighted to get to see Uncle K. first because its Uncle K. whom they love lots and second because Jr. kept remembering and then whispering in Lil’B’s ear that it was for his (Lil’B) birthday. And as everyone knows most of the time birthday = present. He was the happy recipient of a few more piece for the castle set. Jr. was also thrilled because this means he gets to play with a few choice pieces more often now! Both boys have been happily ensconced since Memorial Day weekend with many grand battles and jousting competitions!
