Today was better for me and I think for the boys. The sun came out and we were basking in its warmth all day long. The rain left large quantities of water for the boys to play with in the sandbox. Soaking up all that good vitamin D from the sun helped our moods tremendously.
Side note Happy Feet while cute was much more of an environmental film than a kids movie. I’m still not decided on how I feel about it. I’m somewhat leaning towards only two stars. I loved the music/dancing scenes though I concur with a friend that the music choices were a little more racy than I’d have preferred (for a kids movie). And the seal trying to eat Mumble scared the shit out of me AND Lil’B! We did not see that one coming and both jumped!
I’m still trying to get Lynanne’s baby gift out. I busted my sewing machine and have been digging out the spare. I am actually not sure how it happened but the thread tension came all apart. We put it back together but its not been the same since. Tomorrow though I will have enough hands to dig out the box with the spare in it.
I had hoped to post more today but I’m taking full advantage of an opportunity to soak in the tub. So I shall leave you with a link to two of my favorite soap shops:
