Podcasts, decluttering and some kid pics.

Croncast what an introduction to Pod casting! I am enjoying it a lot! They are hilariously funny and have been a great way to wind down in the evening while I am updating the blog, answering posts and so on. Speaking of Pod casting, I am feeling more and more like I am fast getting behind the times with regard to technology. I didn’t even really know about YouTube until just a few weeks ago. And Flickr was totally off my radar until a few months ago. I used to have time to be focused on whats new, whats coming up and where things might be going. But lately I am just trying to keep up with what I have and try to upgrade a few peripherals. *sigh*

We are once again decluttering our house. It seems like a never ending task but I am confident that we will get to the point where we don’t have all the excess. I think about how much has changed in just my life. We (my family) has become such pack rats! But we are serious about simplifying a little bit. We probably won’t get rid of enough to be considered “living simply” but I would just be happy to get rid of enough stuff that I can keep up with daily housework. Keep up without having to move clutter from one place to the next!! Its hard though to get yourself in the mode of being able to say that “we really don’t need to keep those five sheets sets from our old bed even though they also fit the guest bed - we only really need to keep one.” Its hard just try going through your junk draw….you know you have one somewhere…that place where you throw the rubberbands, miscellaneous junk you find but can’t place. Junk drawers kind of like a “skeleton in the closet” of housework. *laughs*
