SATURDAY
I got up really early and headed over to my friend’s garage for our sale. It was a fun day for me and we made a little money too! HA HA
Daddy was left at home alone to handle the normal morning as well as being charged with the job of getting the boys to music class, snack at the bakery & a visit to the library. According to Daddy it went fairly smoothly and they were even early to music class. (Thus I am sure lending credence to the thought that *I* am what makes us late to almost everything!) The bakery went as was expected with Lil’B deciding that chocolate chip cookies count as “lunch”. I talked breifly with Daddy and we’ve decided perhaps we will pack a picnic this upcoming Saturday and get dessert at the bakery. The Library was a modest success as Jr. is not quite understanding that we aren’t renting videos from the Library at the moment. (To many overdue fines) so we are taking full advantage of our Netflix as well as the generous rental policy at Altoona’s library.
We gathered up all our didn’t sell items and divided them accordingly. One vehicle went to Goodwill and another went home. All in all a successful day which we ended with a movie (Nanny McPhee)
SUNDAY
For our very last day of vacation we opted to stay home most of the day. Dh grilled a lovely beef brisket which came out very well. So well that we packed it up and went to a park for a picnic. We enjoyed our meal, spent a little bit admiring the scenery and then headed for home.
