Eww de Skuunk

What did I do yesterday….bathed the dog in enzymes in the hopes of dispelling the rather unpleasant perfume she was wearing called Eww de Skuunk. In an error of judgement I let the dogs in thinking that the dreaded stench was farther out. But NOOOOOO its on my dog! Who decides that OUT is NOT where she wants to be and heads where?? to the living room…no….the kitchen….iiiii..wwwwissshhhhh!

No she goes Under.My.Bed.where.i.can’t.reach.her!

I had to wake up the bear in the bed….er my husband to get her sorry, stinking butt out which I promptly booted BACK outside (yes I am mean, mean mommy) until we could properly take care of the stench.

Perhaps in her confusion she thought she’d found a relative? After all she’s black so was the smelly “friend”.

Lets all hope she learnt a valuable lesson as the Eww de Skuunk is still somewhat wearing off though the enzymes at least took care of most of it so we (her love her much but are SO totally not letting her in again with the dreaded stench still attached) ….could let her in the house.

We did managed to expunge the smell from the areas of our bedroom where she touched. Eewww! So all is smelling much more like normal at our house!
